Guam Delegate James Moylan’s office is hosting a two-day community outreach event this weekend aimed at connecting residents with federal agencies that serve Guam. The Bridging D.C. & District event will take place Aug. 29 and 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Micronesia Mall’s former JP Superstore location.
Organizers said the event is designed as a one-stop resource where residents can ask questions, access support, and explore federal programs and services. Agencies expected to participate include the Guam Veterans Affairs Office, Guam Vet Center, Veterans Benefits Administration, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Social Security Administration, the Honolulu Passport Agency, and the Guam Department of Labor.
The event will also feature on-site veteran service support, where veterans can speak with VA representatives, submit intake forms, and connect to benefits. Officials encourage veterans attending to bring their DD214 or NGB-22 forms to help expedite services.
