Guam Fire Department units responded to a reported drowning at Ritidian Point early Friday afternoon, according to GFD officials.
The emergency call came in at 1:33 p.m., and bystanders had already begun CPR on the male victim before firefighters arrived on scene. GFD personnel continued life-saving efforts and transported the individual to Guam Regional Medical City while maintaining CPR, the department said.
