A man previously out on felony release is facing new charges after Guam police reported he led officers on a high-speed chase and was found in possession of methamphetamine earlier this week. According to a magistrate’s complaint, Scott Martin Flores, also known as “White Boy,” was arrested Aug. 13 following a pursuit through multiple villages that ended near Chaot Bridge in Sinajana.
Court documents state police first spotted a black Toyota Sequoia without license plates on Leyang Road and attempted a traffic stop. Flores allegedly refused to pull over, accelerating away and weaving into oncoming traffic before damaging the vehicle’s tires crossing a median. Once stopped, officers reported finding suspected methamphetamine in a pouch outside the driver’s door, along with more narcotics and paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Tests on the seized substances reportedly confirmed they were methamphetamine, weighing roughly 12 grams in total. Police said Flores admitted ownership of the drugs and cash found at the scene. Two passengers told investigators they urged Flores to stop during the chase but said they had no knowledge of the drugs. Flores was also accused of resisting arrest by refusing to exit the vehicle and tucking his hands to avoid being handcuffed until officers used a laser device.
Flores is charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance as a third-degree felony, eluding a police officer, and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Prosecutors noted he was already awaiting trial on separate felony charges, including drug possession and theft by receiving a stolen vehicle, at the time of the incident. He remains in custody pending further court proceedings.
