A 47-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges after prosecutors said he assaulted his girlfriend in two separate incidents less than two months apart, including one attack in which she was struck in the head while holding their child.
According to a magistrate’s complaint, Jack Tochoy Lessoy is charged with two counts each of aggravated assault and family violence, and one count of terrorizing. Police said the first incident occurred Nov. 30, 2023, when Lessoy allegedly ripped the victim’s jeans during an argument, threw objects at her and struck her with a broom handle before fleeing the scene.
The second incident happened Jan. 11, 2024, when Lessoy allegedly became angry after the victim asked for help feeding their son, threw a plastic cup at her, tossed her belongings outside and threatened to stab her if she returned. Police said he chased her with a rock and struck her in the back of the head while she held their young child. The blow caused a 1-inch laceration, according to court documents.
Lessoy was arrested Aug. 11, 2025, and charged with the five felonies. The case has been forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office for prosecution
