A man identified as Mayson M. Liffang appeared in Superior Court on Saturday to face a series of serious felony charges, including aggravated assault, carjacking, and multiple counts of robbery.
According to the magistrate report, Liffang is accused under case CF0582-25 of a string of crimes ranging from violent offenses to property-related charges. The list includes aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit second degree robbery, second degree robbery, theft, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft of property, graffiti, and criminal mischief.
Liffang was implicated in a carjacking and stabbing incident that occurred on August 15, he was allegedly one of four or five individuals who assaulted and stabbed a man who was asleep in the vehicle that was stolen, then left on the roadway.
He was also implicated in a car theft at Star Massage in Tumon reportedly involving four or five "teenagers/young adults" on August 15. Police reviewed surveillance footage to positively identify Liffang. They also arrested two Okkodo High School students - Johnrex Saimon and Naylan Sonis. Authorities are actively searching for AM Ermis and issued a Wanted Flyer for information on his whereabouts.
The government petitioned for Liffang's pretrial confinement, citing the severity and scope of the alleged offenses.
Judge Johnathan R. Quan ordered Liffang committed on $10,000 cash bail.
