The Guam Police Department arrested Scott Flores on August 13 for illegal possession of a controlled substance, according to a press release.
Flores was operating a truck when he failed to stop on Leyang Road by Tun Juan White Street in Barrigada. Central Precinct Command units pursued the vehicle as it continued at a high rate of speed, traveling south on Route 10 to Routes 4 and 10. The vehicle then entered the oncoming lane, nearly causing head-on collisions with multiple vehicles and striking cones at a construction site.
The truck continued northbound on Route 4, where it struck the median by Dero Road in Ordot, resulting in blown tires. The vehicle came to a stop at Chaot Bridge, where officers approached. Approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine and $144 were confiscated from the scene.
Flores has been booked, processed, and confined to the Department of Corrections. His information has been forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office for their review and disposition.
