Police arrested an 18-year-old man on allegations that he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl he met on Instagram.

The girl was reported missing on January 11, according to an affidavit of probable cause, which said the minor was found at Jayton Ray Crisostomo's residence hours later. The girl told police that she received a message from Crisostomo early that morning and left with him at around 1 a.m.

According to the complaint the girl did not know Crisostomo, but he asked her out on a date and told him she was 12-years-old when she got in the car with defendant and another male.

Crisostomo is accused of having sexual intercourse with the girl, writing his name on her "belly" and asking her to "give him hickeys on his neck."

When police showed up at his residence the girl said she was instructed to "keep quiet."

Crisostomo was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony and second-degree custodial interference as a third-degree felony. He was confined with bail set at $10,000.
