A structural fire at a home on Camp Watkins Road also known as Hospital Road in Tamuning early Monday morning prompted the closure of the route and redirection of traffic, according to the Guam Police Department.
Police confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the fire that occurred around 7:30 a.m.
Police noted that police units from Tumon-Tamuning precinct assisted with the road closure as the Guam Fire Department and Guam Power Authority "assess and cleanup."
Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes.
