The Division of Homelessness Assistance and Poverty Prevention (DHAPP) is now open at its new Hagåtña location, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) announced June 26.

DHAPP moved from the ITC location in Tamuning to 130 Father Duenas Ave., the former Kamalen Karidat Building next to Julale Shopping Center in Hagåtña.

"DHAPP has completed its relocation and encourages community members, service providers and partner agencies to update their records with the division's new office location and contact information," DPHSS said in the release.

DHAPP provides services to individuals experiencing homelessness and those who need poverty prevention assistance.

Officials said DHAPP helps "connect individuals and families with available resources and support program throughout Guam."

"Community members seeking assistance are encouraged to visit the new office or contact the division using the updated information," DPHSS officials added.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. DHAPP can be reached at 671-989-5589 or by email at dhapp@dphss.guam.gov.
