With Super Typhoon Bavi now gone from the region, the Guam Election Commission has resumed homebound voting for the Primary Election on Wednesday, July 8.

Homebound voting is available to voters who are unable to vote at the early voting site.

“Voters needing the service can call 671-477-9791 to schedule an appointment. An application is required for the service, and GEC staff will assist with the process over the phone,” the Joint Information Center’s Recovery release No. 8 states.

Early voting begins Thursday, July 9 at the Westin Resort Guam.

“ This early voting center will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday until July 25. Residents are able to register and vote at the same time at this location until July 17,” the JIC states.

Curbside voting and Expressvote machines are also available for those who require accessibility services, the JIC said, noting that voters must present a valid ID to vote along with proof of citizenship to register.
