GTA has earned the 2026 Great Place To Work Certification™, company officials announced Monday, citing employee feedback that placed the local telecommunications provider well above the national average for workplace satisfaction.
The certification is based entirely on survey responses from current employees. According to the company, 81% of employees said GTA is a great place to work — 24 percentage points higher than the average U.S. company. Great Place To Work® is a global authority on workplace culture and employee experience, recognizing organizations based on real-time employee feedback.
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place To Work said. She added the recognition reflects employee assessments of company culture and workplace environment.
GTA President and CEO Roland Certeza credited employees for the recognition, saying the company’s culture reflects pride in service to Guam. Cora Yanger Bejado, head of GTA’s People Operations team, said the organization emphasizes collaboration, professional development and employee well-being. Research from Great Place To Work indicates employees at certified workplaces are more likely to feel fairly compensated, see advancement opportunities and look forward to coming to work.
