Guam Police Department's Records and ID Section is experiencing "technical difficulties" with access to the National Crime Information Center leaving the section temporarily unable to provide background check.
GPD said "network stability" is also impacting the section's "sign-in processing items."
The Records and ID Section is also experiencing a "temporary issue" with its card terminal and is only accepting cash or checks as of 9:30 a.m., Nov. 4.
"We apologize for any inconvenience these issues may cause," GPD said thanking the community for its patience.
