The Guam Power Authority on Wednesday advised customers that several customer service systems are temporarily unavailable due to system maintenance being performed by its IT contractor.
GPA said the disruptions are affecting access to critical services that support customer transactions and account inquiries. Customers were encouraged to check back later in the afternoon as restoration efforts continue.
Temporarily unavailable services include the GPWA mobile app for iOS users, Pay-By-Phone at (671) 647-5787, the automated payment line at 1-855-712-9696, and the Customer Information System used for account inquiries.
GPA urged customers to use PayGPA.com for online payments and account inquiries. In-person payments remain available at three GPA locations, though only cash and check payments are being accepted at this time.
Customer service representatives continue to take calls during regular call center hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Customers who miss a representative are encouraged to leave a voicemail, which GPA said is checked frequently.
Lobby and drive-thru services remain open at GPA’s Fadian Main Office, the Julale Shopping Center in Hagåtña, and the Upper Tumon office and payment drive-thru, with varying weekday and Saturday hours.
GPA apologized for the inconvenience and said updates will be posted on its website and social media platforms.
