As of 5:00 p.m., April 12, Guam is in Condition of Readiness, COR, 2. In response, the Guam Department of Education opened the following seven emergency shelters at 6:00 p.m.:
Northern Region:
- Astumbo Elementary School
- Maria A. Ulloa Elementary School
- Machananao Elementary School
Central Region:
- George Washington High School
Southern Region:
- Talo’fo’fo Elementary School
- Merizo Martyrs Elementary School
- Inarajan Middle School
