Mark your calendars: World Theater Productions (WTP) and the Guam Philharmonic Foundation Inc. (GPF) are bringing the magic of Arendelle to Guam with the premiere of Disney's "Frozen: The Broadway Musical," set for September.
The musical production features Academy Award-winning songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez alongside "new music" written exclusively for the stage.
"We are thrilled to bring the magic of Arendelle to life here on Guam," WTP executive producer and GPF board treasurer Margarita "Margie" Dancel said. "Frozen is a moving story that beautifully explores the themes of acceptance, sisterhood and true love."
"Frozen: The Broadway Musical" follows the story of Princess Anna and Elsa in the kingdom of Arendelle.
"When Queen Elsa's hidden powers trigger an eternal winter, Anna embarks on an epic journey to bring her sister home, joined by Kristoff, Sven and Olaf," the release said.
The Broadway production takes the stage from Sept. 4 through 6 at the University of Guam Calvo Field House in Mangilao. Ticket sales will be announced at a later date through the WTP and GPF Facebook and Instagram pages.
