Tracking shows Sinlaku’s closest point of approach to Guam expected between 2 and 4 p.m. Tuesday, with gusts of 70 to 80 mph already battering the island according forecast officials.

Guam remains under a Tropical Storm Warning and Typhoon Watch under COR 1. Residents must stay indoors until COR 4 is declared.
