“This is a very serious threat to all of the Marianas Islands one that everyone across Guam and all of the CNMI need to be watching very closely. This has been making a b-line toward the Mariana Islands ... in the forecast models for nearly a week now and those tracks are holding very steady,” Landon Aydlett National Weather Service Guam Warning Coordination Meteorologist said of Tropical Storm 09W, Thursday morning.
