The Guam Fire Department has ceased search operations in the area where personal belongings of Robert A.T. Taimanglo, also known as “Berta,” were discovered. Taimanglo was reported missing after a vehicle was located along the Pagat Hiking Trail in Mangilao at approximately 7:30 a.m. on June 26.
While GFD and the Guam Police Department conducted search operations on June 26 and 27, the active search was suspended at 5:00 p.m. on June 27. However, the case remains open with GPD, and follow-up investigations are ongoing.
A missing person poster has been circulating on social media since June 27.
