Guam Fire Department units responded early Saturday morning to a serious auto collision involving an SUV and a dump truck along the southbound lane of Route 1 near McDonald’s in Tamuning.
According to GFD, crews were dispatched at about 4:03 a.m. and located two male occupants from the SUV upon arrival.
One man, believed to be about 30 years old, was found unresponsive at the scene. He was transported to Guam Memorial Hospital while CPR was being performed en route.
A second male patient, also believed to be around 30 years old, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Guam Regional Medical City for treatment.
Authorities advised motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the Guam Police Department conducts its investigation into the crash.
