The 5th Annual Veteran Symposium hosted by I Hinanao, I Magåhet, Yan I Ininna (HMI) is set for Tuesday, bringing together veterans, survivors and their families to learn about resources, benefits and programs available to them in Guam.
This year, the 5th Annual Veteran Symposium is themed "From Service to Strength: Five Years of Veterans Serving Veterans," and will be followed by HMI's Benefits Bootcamp #55, according to organizers.
Both events are free and open to "all veterans and their families." HMI said, "we want to ensure that every veteran and family member who could benefit has the opportunity to attend."
The Veteran Symposium is a three-day event beginning on August 13 to August 15 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The HMI Benefits Bootcamp starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
The events will be held at the University of Guam Lecture Hall.
