The Department of Public Health and Social Services' Guam Community Health Centers (GCHC) highlighted its adult primary care services with the spotlight on internal medicine physician Dr. Joel Paulino.
GCHC announced that Paulino will provide care for a range of conditions commonly managed in internal medicine, including diabetes, high blood pressure and other chronic health issues. His scope of care also includes thyroid and kidney conditions, infections, breathing concerns, and medication management with follow-up care.
Internal medicine physicians specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases, often serving as primary care providers for patients with complex or ongoing medical needs.
GCHC is encouraging community members who need help managing chronic conditions or who are seeking continued follow-up care to schedule an appointment.
Appointments can be made by calling the Northern Regional Community Health Center at (671) 635-7547 or the Southern Regional Community Health Center at (671) 828-7623. Patients may also request appointments by emailing ghcappointment@dphss.guam.gov or by using the QR code provided in GCHC’s announcement materials.
