The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation, in conjunction with the Department of Administration, announced Friday that another $2.7 million in individual income tax refunds has been disbursed as part of the government’s sixth batch of payments for 2025.
According to DRT, the latest batch totaled $2,748,700.45 and covered 845 payments. Of those, 623 were issued as paper checks while 222 were sent through electronic fund transfers.
The latest disbursement brings the total amount of individual tax refunds paid this year to $63,747,715.52.
The prior installment released by the government totaled more than $6.6 million for taxpayers who filed on or before Feb. 15, 2026.
DRT said it continues to receive and process 2025 income tax returns. Under Executive Order 2026-02, taxpayers have until May 15, 2026, to file their returns.
Officials said refunds will continue to be processed and paid weekly, though turnaround times are expected to fluctuate between six and eight weeks because of the high volume of filings.
Residents unable to pay taxes in full are encouraged to contact DRT’s Collection Branch to discuss payment arrangements.
