The Guam Department of Agriculture will host “Your Path, Our Mission,” a free community event on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Micronesia Mall Center Court. The event is designed to showcase the department’s programs, services, and initiatives that support agriculture, aquaculture, biosecurity, fisheries, forestry, wildlife, and animal health across the island.

Residents attending will have the opportunity to learn more about the department’s efforts in areas such as hunter education, coral reef restoration, forestry support, animal control, aquaculture, fisheries, and biosecurity inspections. Technical assistance in permitting, invasive species response, and natural resource protection will also be highlighted during the event.

“We are excited to open our mission to the community and share the many ways people can be part of protecting Guam’s natural resources and strengthening our island’s food security,” said Chelsa Muña, director of the Guam Department of Agriculture. “Whether your passion is in the ocean, the forest, or the farm, there is a pathway for you with the Department of Agriculture.”

No registration is required to attend. QR codes will be available at the event for residents to access additional information and indicate their areas of interest.
